Dean Farm Trust at Cardiff Viva! Vegan Festival

Dean Farm Trust at Cardiff Viva! Vegan Festival

As we say hello to February we kick off with a great start to the month with our first vegan festival of the year, hosted at the Cardiff City Hall by the brilliant Viva! team it was a roaring success with a whopping 2350 visitors.

Viva! have been campaigning to end the suffering of farmed animals since 1994 and the festivals are designed to help educate people on how to live a more compassionate lifestyle by reducing their consumption and use of animal products. The atmosphere was simply phenomenal, so many people united under one roof with the same desire to help the helpless and speak out for those who can’t. From hot and cold food stalls, offering delicious vegan goodness to cruelty-free cosmetics, clothing, cooking demos and much more.

It was an unforgettable day and Dean Farm Trust were honored to be among the fifty plus stall holders there. It was a great opportunity for us to meet and talk with many familiar faces as well as welcoming lots of new people. We can’t thank you enough for your interest, kindness and support. The number of animals rescued by the sanctuary is growing by the day and we would not be capable of achieving this without our supporters.

We have lots of exciting news coming up later on in February so don’t forget to like our Facebook page: Dean Farm Trust or subscribe to our monthly newsletter to keep up to date with all the sanctuary news.
