Factory and intensive farming

Factory farmed animals often endure poor welfare conditions.

Farmed animals are frequently exploited with a poor quality of life and slaughtered at at a fraction of their natural lifespan.

Antibiotics, growth hormones and steroids are used to accelerate growth in poor conditions.

Every year billions of animals, most of them factory farmed, meet an and early death to provide cheap meat & corporate profits.

The poor quality and damaging health effects of foodstuffs produced by these methods are of increasing concern. Processed meats have been linked with early deaths in a study of 500,000 people over 13 years in 10 European countries.
